BOSTON — Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Monday that he expects starting pitcher Kutter Crawford to begin a rehab assignment later this week. Crawford was placed on the injured list March 27 with right patellar tendinopathy.

Boston Red Sox third baseman Alex Bregman, who has been out since May 23 with a strained right quad, said that his rehab is moving at "warp speed" per comments made to Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe.
