Screen Rant on MSNAlan Ritchson Is Wrong About A Reacher Movie Being A Bad Idea, And This Prequel Book Would Be Perfect For It
Alan Ritchson is reluctant to front a Reacher movie and feels TV is the best format for it, but a big screen adaptation would still be a wise move.
It all began when @Wokenessisevil tweeted a side-by-side comparison of Hugh Jackman and Alan Ritchson. In the photos, the actors appear overly-muscular and shirtless, shown in screencaps from their roles as Wolverine and Jack Reacher. The X user claimed the two characters were designed for the female gaze, but many argued otherwise.
EXCLUSIVE: Range Media Partners has signed Alan Ritchson, who became a household name playing Jack Reacher in the eponymous action series. Led by co-founder Rich Cook, Range beat out a number of other companies to sign Ritchson after he recently left his longtime manager.
Recalling a final screen-test, he said he "made no mistakes," however at the end, Don Granger, a producer for Skydance, said there was something "distracting" going on in the background, like the sound of drums.
Reacher star Alan Ritchson posted a behind-the-scenes video offering an update on how things are looking with filming on the fourth season.
