The Chicago Sky dropped to 7-16 during the 2025 WNBA season after Tuesday evening's 91 to 68 loss against the 21-4 Minnesota Lynx. Chicago still sits in 11th place in the league standings, 4.0 games behind the Washington Mystics for the final playoff spot.
See the look and TikTok dance the WNBA star felt compelled to post after the Chicago Sky got destroyed at home to the Seattle Storm, 95-57.
Reese has been a positive contributor for Chicago this year, averaging 13.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. The two-time All-Star is officially listed as questionable against Seattle per the Sky’s injury report, and her status will be closely monitored in the hours leading up to tip-off.
The Storm stayed ahead of Chicago throughout the game, taking a 39-26 halftime lead and never looking back. The team was led by Skylar Diggins, who had 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks. She also shot 7-of-14 overall, 3-of-6 from three-point range and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
The Sky star forward has been dealing with a lingering leg injury since before the All-Star break which could be cause for concern
WNBA legend Candace Parker's personal ranking of current players in various talent tiers sparked conversation earlier this month after she placed three players ahead of Caitlin Clark -- A'ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart -- and then gave Angel Reese a "C" grade.
As Clark remains sidelined by a right groin injury with “no timetable” for a return, the Indiana Fever added some temporary depth by signing the 6-foot-2 Australian forward, who appeared in five games for the Golden State Valkyries in June.
Reese wants to be a union leader — and she’s already speaking up. Current members of the executive committee see a natural fit.
