The 9-0 loss on Tuesday snapped a three-game winning streak for the Pirates. That was Pittsburgh's fourth time being shutout this season and eighth game involved in a shutout overall.

The Pirates move to 21-17 in 2026 after Thursday's win vs. the Diamondbacks, matching the 2015 feat that last led Pittsburgh to the playoffs.
