The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has announced a nationwide boycott of trade relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, triggered by their support for Pakistan after India's Operation Sindoor.

Traders' associations from across the country announced a unanimous decision to boycott trade and travel with Turkey and Azerbaijan, which supported Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, India's anti-terror strikes in response to the killings of tourists in Pahalgam in Kashmir.

National strategic adviser to CAIT Smriti Irani said “The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) decided today to end all trade with Turkey and Azerbaijan. All trade organisations have called for a boycott, this is in support of those brave sons of India, in support of those brave women who keep the country's borders safe….”
