James Gunn is shutting down rumors about Robin appearing in “The Batman Part II.” After fan speculation spread online that the Boy Wonder would appear in Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated sequel, Gunn took to Threads on Friday to set the record straight.

Rumors about anything to do with a potential plot for "The Batman 2" are unfounded, James Gunn insisted this week. "Guys please stop believing this nonsense. I think six of us have read the script," the DC Studios co-CEO wrote on Threads in response to Robin fan speculation on Friday.

Taking to Threads after news began circulating regarding Bruce Wayne's first sidekick, Gunn told fans, "Guys please stop believing this nonsense. I think six of us have read the script. No one knows anything about the Batman 2.
