A teenager came forward with a harrowing tale of abuse. Her mother and stepfather are charged, accused of confining her for years in their South Jersey home.

The victim, now 18, told detectives that 38-year-old Brenda Spencer and 41-year-old Branndon Mosley had been abusing her since approximately 2018. Brenda Spencer and Branndon Mosley.

Brenda Spencer, 38, and Branndon Mosley, 41, were charged Sunday with kidnapping, assault, neglect and abuse of Spencer’s daughter, according to the Camden County District Attorney’s Office.
