Devon and Cornwall weather and traffic live as another Met Office ice warning starts
Another weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for icy roads on Friday morning (January 10). The yellow alert, which includes most of Devon, including Plymouth, as well as parts of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset, is in place from 3am-11am today.

The Met Office has warned of a risk of power cuts and poor driving conditions which may leave some motorists stranded on the roads. The Exeter-based forecaster has issued a yellow weather warning across much of the South West, lasting from 9am to 11.59pm.

A rare amber warning for snow has been issued across Devon and Cornwall with immediate effect. Snow has fallen across large parts of the region, including Dartmoor, forcing some schools to close and road restrictions on the A38 motorway.
