The car bombing outside a California fertility clinic that killed one person and injured four others appears to have been driven by anti-natalist ideology, according to two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the incident.

A suspect believed to be the perpetrator of the fertility clinic bombing in Palm Springs, Calif. Saturday, has been identified as 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, a resident of Twentynine Palms, home to a large U.

Guy Bartkus exhibited warning signs prior to the attack that should have been reported to law enforcement, the city’s police chief told CNN Monday.
