Prescott and Show Low Regional are just two of more than 100 airports nationwide that could lose funding Sunday, from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Essential Air Service, which provides funding for rural airline routes, serves communities across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, according to the Transportation Department.
The $6.7 million grant was earmarked for the Indianapolis International Airport in 2023 under the Biden administration. IND never received the money.
