Rain and a few storms return tonight
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Strong to severe storms possible today
Happy Thursday! Today is a KSLA First Alert Weather Day as we are tracking the potential for strong to severe storms in the ArkLaTex this afternoon. Flash Flooding has already been reported north of I-30 and that will likely continue into the afternoon.
First Alert Weather: Rain and a few storms return tonight
Rain will move in after 8 p.m. and just after midnight, a few storms will move in through early Friday. We can’t rule out a strong, gusty storm through Friday morning and some rumbles of thunder. This system will exit Alabama by midday Friday.
First Alert Weather: Soaking Rain Expected Today
Periods of rainfall will continue during the day but there will be some dry spots mainly south of I-40 through the afternoon and early evening. Highs today will stay in the mid to upper 50s. More widespread rain is expected overnight Thursday and into early Friday morning.
