Storm Enzo sweeps across the Gulf Coast, it’s leaving a trail of travel disruptions in its wake. The rare winter weather has blanketed the region with snow and ice, causing widespread flight cancellations and treacherous road conditions.

A woman who showed signs of intoxication was found with her 2-month-old and 1-year-old babies in Houston, Texas during winter storm Enzo, said police.

Houston was blanketed with layers of snow the morning of Jan. 21, pausing city services as residents and officials braced for icy roads, frozen, broken pipes and power outages, reminiscent of 2021 Winter Storm Uri.
