Iga Swiatek may not love the grass but relishes a battle whatever the surface and showed all that fight and bullish determination as she recovered to beat American Caty McNally 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 and reach the Wimbledon third round on Thursday.

Iga Swiatek claims "everyone is watching me" after being caught filling her bag with Wimbledon towels. Swiatek mischievously took numerous towels off the court after beating Polina Kudermetova in the first round on Tuesday.

Chaos reigned during the first three days at Wimbledon, with half of the women's Top 10 seeds ousted, before order was restored Thursday in London. Seventh-seeded Mirra Andreeva of Russia and eighth-seeded Iga Swiatek of Poland both prevailed on the grass courts to forge ahead to the third round.
