Houston center fielder Jake Meyers was removed from Wednesday night’s game against Cleveland after he appeared to be injured during pregame warmups.

Meyers did not start Saturday’s game against the Dodgers but entered the game late as a pinch-hitter. He did start Sunday, then left that game in the fifth inning. Espada said Meyers’ calf had tightened up during the game. He did not play Monday or Tuesday.
