The Las Vegas Raiders are currently holding a competition for the starting cornerback spot in training camp, and head coach Pete Carroll provided a major update on the position battle. According to Levi Edwards of Raiders.com, Carroll stated that third-round rookie Darien Porter has been taking first-team reps in training camp.

It came as a shock to some that the Las Vegas Raiders waived defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, whom the team gave a $110 million contract in free agency last year. While there are rumors around the Raiders and Wilkins in regards to the fallout, head coach Pete Carroll would speak about the decision.
