McCully apartment fire kills 25-year-old firefighter, leaves several hospitalized
HONOLULU (Island News) -- A McCully apartment fire on Young Street claimed the life of a 25-year-old firefighter. Five firefighters were taken to Queen's in serious condition, one firefighter was taken to Straub in critical condition and one civilian was taken in serious condition. The 25-year-old firefighter was pronounced dead at the hospital.
ATF agents based in Honolulu have already started the investigation, but a few dozen more are on the way from various states.
