The Seattle Seahawks released tight end Noah Fant, the team announced Sunday. The Seahawks saved $8.91 million against the salary cap by releasing Fant after he was due a non-guaranteed salary of $8.49 million in 2025, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
The San Francisco 49ers have already added two tight ends in free agency, but a former first-round pick came available who could help their depth.
