The Phoenix Suns have narrowed down their list of candidates for the vacant head coaching position to current NBA assistants who have never been NBA head coaches.

“There was mutual interest between the (San Antonio) Spurs and Kevin Durant at the trade deadline,” Charania said on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. Of course, the Spurs have been named as a potential landing spot for Durant this offseason but they have also been linked to other stars including Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.
