The Texas Rangers made a few moves before the Winter Meetings, and Chris Young has given some insight as to why.

It's become apparent that even making the 2026 Wild Card fraternity will be no easy task for the Rangers. There are no more "Humpties" among the opposition. Meanwhile, the Rangers are solidifying with points in seven of their last eight games, but movement must continue forward.

The Rangers will make some moves during the Winter Meetings, but their best path forward involved internal improvement.
