Rutgers has placed women's gymnastics coach Umme Salim-Beasley on paid administrative leave after an investigation into the program revealed she "presided over a divided and dysfunctional organization.

The four-month $750,000 investigation was conducted by Lowenstein Sandler LLP, which interviewed 62 witnesses, some of whom sat for more than one interview.

Gov. Phil Murphy called on Rutgers to investigate the gymnastics program this summer, calling allegations “really ugly and very disturbing.”
