Following his return at Saturday Night's Main Event, Cody Rhodes made his first appearance on SmackDown since losing the WWE title to John Cena at WrestleMania 41 to address his future.

Friday night's latest "WWE SmackDown" closed with the continuation of the championship feud, as the company gears up for "Money In the Bank" on June 7, when Cena and Rhodes face off in a tag-team match alongside their respective partners Logan Paul and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso.

Cena and Paul lunged into action, but were outgunned by the former undisputed WWE tag team champions. Uso dove onto Cena before hitting a combination flapjack-Cody Cutter onto Paul. Uso raised his world heavyweight title and Rhodes hoisted Cena's undisputed WWE title as their rivals watched from the ramp.
