NHL players are back at the Olympic Games for the first time since Sochi 2014. A total of 147 NHL players will compete in men’s hockey, with the United States, Canada, Sweden and Finland featuring rosters dominated by NHL talent.
The last time NHL players were in the Olympics, the entertainment level was off the charts. T.J. Oshie made a national name for himself with his shootout heroics to help the U.S. beat Russia on its home soil, and Canada had a clinical march to gold.
Several hockey-related search terms including “boy aquarium” and “are there any gay hockey players” are at an all-time high.
