Chris Rock got his start in stand-up comedy before being cast on Saturday Night Live in 1990. He left the show in 1993 and went on to release several award-winning comedy specials, including Chris Rock: Bring the Pain (1997).

Peter Farrelly's "I Play Rocky," Anton Corbijn's "A Talent for Murder" and new films directed by Courteney Cox, Rebel Wilson and Chris Rock will premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival,

The 51st edition of the Canadian festival will also feature world premieres starring Taron Egerton, Amanda Seyfried and Chase Infiniti

TIFF also booked the latest films by Wayne Wang, Danny Boyle, Pedro Almodovar, Mike Leigh and Jesse Eisenberg as it laid out upcoming Gala and Special Presentation titles.
