DALLAS — February 2026 is trending very similarly to the rest of this winter: warmer than normal. But February is known for extremes. The record low for the month is -2 degrees in 1899 while the record high for the month is 96 degrees in 1904.
So far, Feb. has been significantly warmer than normal, with the average high almost 12 degrees above the standard.
