MONTREAL — With the Montreal Canadiens edging closer to grabbing a foothold in their series with the Washington Capitals — up two goals late in Game 3 — Élise Béliveau popped up on the scoreboard.

The Canadiens hadn't played a home since Jean Beliveau, their legendary captain and 10-time Stanley Cup champion, died last week — until Tuesday. Naturally, the Bell Centre tribute didn't disappoint.
