At least 20 people, including three children, were killed and six others injured in an Israeli strike on Almat in Lebanon's Mount Lebanon province, the country's health ministry said on Sunday.

Baalbek, in northeastern Lebanon, has increasingly come under attack as the Israeli military expands its campaign against the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah. Dozens of people have been killed and most of the city’s population has fled.

Lebanon's health ministry said an Israeli strike on Sunday killed 20 people including three children in the village of Almat, north of the capital Beirut.
