Billionaire businessman Tom Golisano plans to donate $360 million to 82 nonprofit organizations across Western and Central New York, including $10 million to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital has been awarded $10 million by philanthropist Tom Golisano as part of a multi-million dollar giving spree. Speaking from the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship,

The only wealth that you get to keep is that what you give away, so today we're going to give away some,” Tom Golisano said.
