Early in the show, Paul Heyman delivered news of his team's fifth man for WarGames to Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis. Heyman had arrived earlier in the night with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. The fifth man was not revealed at the time, but Pearce rolled his eyes before saying, "This is going to be fun."

Raw also offered fans better wrestling than they saw this weekend, with a shockingly good heel-versus-heel match in The Last Time Is Now Tournament and a crisp tag title match. However, Raw couldn’t resist serving up another trope-laden program with bad acting and a lack of justification for title opportunities.

WWE Raw on Monday night had a little bit of everything for fans who tuned in to catch up on the latest ahead of Survivor Series. The red brand featured a legit injury, the return of a Stupid Vince Trope, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Brock Lesnar appearance, and an abysmal main event. Truly a one-of-a-kind go-home show before one of the Big Four PLEs.
