Following his 2022 album “Herbert,” which featured production input from Lamar, Ab-Soul released two singles supporting “Soul Burger”: “Squeeze 1st 2” and “All That” dropped Oct. 18.
The project is a tribute to Ab-Soul’s childhood best friend, Doe Burger, who passed away in 2021. Doe encouraged Ab-Soul to create more lively, show-stopping music for fans.
Ab-Soul’s new track is called “Moonshooter,” and he co-wrote it with fellow TDE artist Zacari. On the song, Ab-Soul waxes philosophical over a moody breakbeat and a melodic string-sample.
