Jones has not yet been able to practice this week as he recovers from a calf injury. He is not expected to play in Week 18 but should be ready to return for the Chiefs’ eventual Divisional Round matchup in the playoffs.

With Thursday's practice over, the KC Chiefs are continuing to monitor Week 18 injury situations with Chris Jones, Isiah Pacheco, D.J. Humphries and others.

Jones sustained a calf injury in Week 16 that caused him to miss practice this week. Though he returned as a limited participant in the Chiefs’ drills on Tuesday, Kansas City officially listed him as questionable for its tilt against the Steelers. It is unclear how much time—if any—Jones will need to miss due to his current condition.

With the No. 1 seed in the AFC already locked up, the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to rest some starters in Week 18's match against the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, not every starter will have the luxury of having the day off.
