His latest heroics came Thursday night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, when he gave the Indiana Pacers their first lead of the game with just .3 seconds to go. His 21-foot jumper held up as the winner as the Pacers stole Game 1 in Oklahoma City, 111-110.

The father of Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton will be in attendance for the 2025 NBA Finals. The two-time All-Star told reporters his dad, John, plans on attending the series. Last month, John Haliburton decided against coming to Pacers games indefinitely in the aftermath of his on-court exchange with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo after Indiana eliminated Milwaukee in the first round.

Indiana’s postseason of improbable comebacks continues with an 111-110 win. Haliburton’s jumper gave the visitors their only lead of the night, but the one that mattered most.
