Denny Hamlin experienced a first in his NASCAR career during Sunday’s AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway. Hamlin had issues with his clutch throughout the race and completely lost it while on pit road on Lap 197.
Bell ran top five much of the day at Kansas. He finished third in the first stage, fifth in the second stage and then finished second in the race. This was his sixth top five of the season and eighth top 10. The JGR driver was really never a threat to win, but he was there if Larson had trouble.
Kyle Larson ultimately clinched the victory at Kansas Speedway, followed by Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney, who crossed the line in second and third, respectively. Chase Briscoe and Alex Bowman were next to take the chequered flag in fourth and fifth respectively.
