A Kentucky State Police trooper is recovering after being shot during a traffic stop that preceded Sunday's deadly church shooting in rural Lexington.

Lupe Ramirez runs Northstar Maintenance, a commercial cleaning company in Laurel County. Their building off Old Whitley Road was one of the many devastated by the deadly May 16 tornado. One security expert says active shootings in churches have gone up across the nation in the past ten years

We're learning new details about the victims in the shooting at Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky.

The day was interrupted when a man came on church property and shot four people, killing two women and injuring two men. The two women were identified as 72-year-old Beverly Gumm and 32-year-old Christina Combs. One man is in critical condition while the other is stable.
