BOSTON - There is some snow in the forecast for Massachusetts this weekend. The Boston area will get a small taste from the winter storm now barreling through the south. Some light snow will be in the air Saturday morning and early afternoon.

A NWS forecaster said Massachusetts will see at most two inches of snowfall from the storm this weekend. Most parts of the state, including Worcester, Boston and the South Shore, are expected to get less than an inch of snow.

Massachusetts is set to dodge a system of low pressure that could have dumped heavy snow on the state on Saturday. But National Weather Service forecasters say some snow will still fall in the Bay State, thanks to a different weather system.
