Truist Park has a hometown favorite to cheer on in the Home Run Derby, but it isn't the player originally chosen to participate.

The field for the upcoming 2025 Home Run Derby underwent a late-hour change Saturday, as Matt Olson of the host Atlanta Braves was announced as a replacement for teammate Ronald Acuña Jr., who will no longer participate.

Ronald Acuña Jr. won’t participate in the Home Run Derby, replaced by Atlanta teammate and fellow All-Star Matt Olson.
