The Atlanta Braves starting pitcher had some hiccups in his return, but there isn't a need to sound the alarm yet

Spencer Strider made his return on Tuesday as the Atlanta Braves fell to the Washington Nationals 5-3. It was Strider’s first start since April 16, where he went down with a hamstring injury.

In his first three innings against the Washington Nationals, he surrendered six hits and gave up four runs, including a home run, putting the Braves into an early hole against one of the NL East's bottom-feeders. It only adds to an odd 2025 season for Strider.
