Netflix has revealed that season seven of Virgin River is going to see some big changes, reports the Daily Express. The forthcoming outing, which recently wrapped filming, was mostly filmed in Vancouver, Canada with a pitstop in Mexico - a detail which is likely to raise eyebrows about what’s really going on.

Before Season 7 of “Virgin River” even has a premiere date, the series has been renewed for its eighth season at Netflix. An early renewal is par for the course for “Virgin River,” which was renewed for Season 7 ahead of the October 2024 release of Season 6.

"Virgin River" was renewed for Season 8 at Netflix, becoming the platform's longest-running scripted series yet
