The Texas Longhorns, coming off a 2-0 shutout over the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, enter Game 1 as slight favorites over the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Be. Moneyline odds for the Longhorns sit at -120 in comparison to the Red Raiders, slight underdogs with odds at -110.

The Texas Longhorns managed to overcome some controversy in their Game 1 win of the Women's College World Series championship series.

Reese Atwood's late single broke a College World Series slump and delivered a win over Texas Tech in the WCWS opener.

This includes the final four all being decided in rule-rule wins for Texas. When it comes to the WCWS finals, though, Texas coach Mike White said past history has nothing to do with what will take place on OGE Energy Field over the next couple of days.

The Longhorns and Red Raiders are expected to turn out for the biggest stage in college softball, especially since they aren't too far away.
