FORT MYERS, Fla. — Red Sox manager Alex Cora signed a three-year contract extension last July. His good friend Aaron Boone signed his own extension Thursday, a two-year deal. It’s essentially a three-year contract because it is two years added onto his current deal. So he’s signed through the 2027 season.
