North Carolina is launching a new campaign aimed at getting more girls to take computer science classes and eventually go into computer science careers.

The LeNoir Foundation constructed a library at Saving Arms Primary School in Uganda. Due to limited technology, instructors must teach computer skills with a chalkboard.

Half of the high schools in the Capital Region do not offer any computer science courses, according to a report that called for more “computational thinking” at all grade levels.
