JetBlue said it is the first carrier to accept Venmo payments. Customers can buy flights using their Venmo balance or through their linked bank accounts, debit cards or credit cards, the company said. Carol Clements, the airline's chief digital and technology officer, said Venmo offers customers a seamless payment option.

Money transfer app Venmo has partnered with US airline JetBlue to offer customers secure payment options when booking flights directly with JetBlue online.
