ISLAMABAD: Although it has been trying to paint the judge who sentenced Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case as ‘incompetent’ and ‘installed’, Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana was actually transferred to the capital at the time when the PTI was in power, Dawn has learnt.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Azma Bokhari stated that Imran Khan's conviction in the 190 million pounds case sparked outrage among PTI members.

The anti-graft court convened in the jail where Khan is being held near the capital Islamabad, and convicted the couple for graft linked to a welfare foundation they established together called the Al-Qadir Trust.
