Sean McVay has been having sweet dreams ever since the Rams re-upped with a certain Super Bowl-winning quarterback last week. Speaking to reporters Monday, the longtime Rams coach, 39, said he’s “been sleeping better these last couple of days” after veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford agreed to stay with the team on a restructured contract Friday following brief flirtations with the Giants and Raiders.

The Rams coach always thought that his star quarterback would stay with the team. Receiver Cooper Kupp, though is still on the trading block.
