The team announced a three-year agreement Friday with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as its official travel partner. Players will wear a patch with Las Vegas’ official logo on their left sleeves beginning in the regular season.

The $12 billion project will create a 218-mile rail line with stops in Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, Apple Valley and Las Vegas. The train, which will connect to Southern California’s Metrolink system, is expected to cut the roughly four-hour drive to Las Vegas down to about two hours.
