Ceddanne Rafaela lifted the Boston Red Sox to a much-needed win Wednesday afternoon with an unconventional walk-off home run at Fenway Park.

The Cubs' center fielder is playing at an MVP level. Rafaela is an equally elite defender, and the Red Sox believe his offense is coming.

Ceddanne Rafaela curled a home run around the Pesky Pole in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Boston Red Sox rallied after trailing four different times to beat the Los Angeles Angels 11-9.

The Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels got into a bit of a shouting match on the field before the finale of their three-game series. While things eventually settled down without much of an issue and the game started normally, Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson was walked away by a coach.

A new building is being proposed on Lansdowne Street next to Fenway Park that would be very noticeable to Boston Red Sox​ fans.
