Former Husker Brice Matthews is set to become the 42nd Nebraska baseball player to reach the Major Leagues after his contract was selected by the Houston Astros on Friday morning.

Matthews had been selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game, but will be playing in the big leagues instead.
