Chicago police have arrested a 25-year-old Rogers Park man in connection with Thursday’s fatal shooting of Loyola University freshman Sheridan Gorman, according to records obtained by the Tribune.

At least five people were hurt in weekend shootings across Chicago, according to police. The ages of the victims range from 26 to 57. In the first shooting of the weekend, police said officers responded to a call of a person shot around 8:40 p.
