IMPD is investigating the death of a man who was found dead inside a Planet Fitness Monday on the southside of Indianapolis.

Karen Wetzel speaks with PEOPLE about her son Derek Sink's last moments before he was found dead in a Planet Fitness tanning bed in Indianapolis. He had been in the tanning bed for three days before he was discovered.

Sink’s family told the local station that their loved one had dealt with drug problems and a needle was in the room at the Planet Fitness.
