A yellow heat health alert has been extended for seven regions in England amid the country's fourth heatwave of the summer.

Areas of the UK are expected to be hotter than Bali in the coming days, with thermometer readings forecast to hit the mid-30s on Tuesday.

Parts of England will swelter through temperatures of up to 30°C on Friday with heat health alerts extending into next week. The alerts, issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), warn that the ongoing hot weather could pose a danger to older people in particular and put strain on health and social care services.
