Ferrari has been cooking up its second EV model, which was supposed to launch next year, but it’s been pushed back. While there have been conflicting opinions about why the powers that be in Maranello delayed the launch to 2028,

Last month, Ferrari announced it would begin to reveal details about its first all-electric vehicle this October ahead of a full reveal in the spring of 2026. That appears to still be on track; however, according to a report by Reuters, a second Ferrari EV that was originally supposed to be released in 2026 has been pushed back until at least 2028.

As part of Ferrari's undisclosed internal plans a second EV model was planned for around the end of 2026. But now it is not expected before 2028, one of the sources said, who added that real, sustainable demand is non-existent for an electric sports car.
